What helps when you call
None of this is required. Each item you can give us narrows down the fault and the parts before we arrive.
| Detail | Why it helps |

| Equipment type | Rooftop unit, chiller, boiler, cooling tower, computer room unit or air handler. It decides the tools and parts we bring. |
| Make and model | Or a phone photo of the nameplate. That one picture gives us the make, model, serial number and usually the age. |
| Tonnage, if known | A 5-ton package unit and a 120-ton rooftop unit are very different calls. |
| What it is doing | Not cooling, not heating, tripping, short-cycling, noisy or leaking water, and since when. |
| Alarm code | Write it down or photograph the controller screen before anyone resets it. |
| Building address | Street address and which building or suite, if it is a campus. |
| Access and roof notes | Roof hatch or ladder, keys, escorts, security check-in, and the hours we can get in. |

No. Our office schedules every visit so the right tools and parts go to the right unit. Send the form or email Service@britemech.com, and we will call you back to set a time.
Yes. Send a photo of the nameplate and one of the unit itself, and we can usually tell the make, the type and the rough age from those. We work on all brands of commercial and industrial equipment, old and new.
